God's Address

Psalm 22: 1-5 NASB
My God, my God, why has Thou forsaken me? Far from my deliverance are the words of my groaning. Oh my God, I cry by day, but Thou dost not answer; and by night but I have no rest. Yet, Thou are holy, O Thou who art enthroned upon the praises of Israel ( Dost inhabit the praises of His people). In Thee our fathers trusted; they trusted and Thou didst deliver them.  To Thee they cried out, and were delivered; in Thee they trusted, and were not disappointed.

Do you ever feel like God has forsaken you?  Maybe you are in a bad marriage or have children who are rebelling or hurting, or you have a sick loved one or are having difficulties at your work and no matter how much you cry out to God it "seems" like He is not there.  Might we suggest that you do not believe that lie, notice the next part of the verses, vs. 3 in the KJV says He inhabits the praises of His people.  If we are going to experience victory in the midst of pain and disappointment, then we must begin to praise God.  If He indeed inhabits (dwells in, lives there) the Praises of HIS people, then we need to do what His word says.  Can you praise Him today?  Ask Him to open up your eyes to see all the good things He has done and is doing in your lives.   He will not let you down.  He cannot lie and His word says He will never leave you nor forsake you.  He promises that ALL things will work together for good to those who love God and are called according to HIS purpose.

So go to Gods address by verbally praising  the one who saved you and will keep you and will not allow your foot to slip.  Tell others what He has done.

You won't be disappointed, because He is FAITHFUL.

Much Love,
PW and Sherry
