PW hurt his back 3 weeks ago and has been in constant pain, then about 2 wks ago he said his stomach has been hurting. Yesterday we went to the doctor to have this checked because the pain was getting worse and it turns out he has a ventral hernia and needs surgery to fix this problem. It needs to be done soon before it gets worse. Since we are scheduled to leave for Latvia on April 19th we would like prayer that the surgery is uneventful and that recovery is swift so we can keep this commitment to the Bible School in Riga if the Lord wills.
